Inventory Management

The schema covers over 150 specification fields across engine, transmission, axle configuration, suspension, cab and sleeper, tires, brakes, safety systems, body type, vocational equipment, and trailer-specific specs. Dealers can manage Class 8 semis, medium-duty trucks, dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, step decks, lowboys, tankers, and vocational trucks (dump, crane, bucket, hooklift) all from the same platform. Inventory management includes a full dashboard with search, filtering by status, bulk import via CSV, bulk export, VIN decode via NHTSA, photo management with reordering, and Elasticsearch-powered real-time search on the storefront.

Voice Call Routing
Smart call routing built into the platform — a first for truck dealer SaaS
DealerRadar includes a full Twilio-powered voice call routing system as an add-on, giving dealers a dedicated local phone number that routes inbound calls intelligently to the right sales rep. This is not a basic call forwarding service — DealerRadar supports three routing modes: Simultaneous (ring all available reps at once, first to answer wins), Round-Robin (rotate calls evenly across reps), and Sequential (try each rep in order until someone answers, then fall through to voicemail). Before a call is connected, the answering rep hears a whisper message — including what truck the buyer was viewing when they called, so reps are prepared before they say hello. Calls are recorded (with legal consent disclosure played to callers), transcribed, and logged in the dashboard with full history. Missed calls trigger an instant SMS alert to the dealer. Each location can have its own dedicated local phone number.
- Dedicated local Twilio phone number per dealer (Entry: 2 numbers, Advanced: up to 20)
- Three routing modes: Simultaneous, Round-Robin, Sequential
- Unit-context whisper — rep hears which truck the caller was viewing before answering
- Call recording with legal consent disclosure played automatically

- Missed call SMS alert sent instantly to dealer
- Full call log in dashboard: caller, duration, status, answered-by rep, unit context, recording link

Lead Management
Every lead captured, tracked, and routed to the right rep
DealerRadar captures leads from every unit listing, the contact page, and inbound phone calls, then routes them automatically based on the dealer's configuration. Every lead includes full buyer context: name, email, phone, company, zip code, message, referrer URL, which unit they were interested in, and UTM campaign parameters. Leads move through a pipeline (New → Contacted → Active → Won/Lost) and can be assigned to specific sales reps manually or automatically via round-robin or location-based routing. The lead detail page shows the full conversation history including SMS threads and call logs tied to that buyer. Dealers get instant SMS and email alerts on every new lead.

Analytics & Reporting
Real ROI data — not just vanity metrics
DealerRadar's analytics dashboard gives dealers a clear picture of what's working: traffic, lead volume, conversion rate, revenue from won deals, cost per lead, and which inventory units are driving the most interest. The 30-day trend chart tracks page views, inventory views, and leads together so dealers can see the full funnel. The hot inventory list shows which trucks are getting the most views and leads so dealers know what to promote. Aging inventory alerts surface units sitting 30+ days with no leads so dealers can reprice or re-merchandise. The stale lead dashboard flags every buyer who hasn't been contacted in 48+ hours.

VIN decode pulls specs automatically from the NHTSA database. Photos and assets are served from Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible) for fast global delivery.
